Recording

Hold the red button until its ring fills, then speak. Let go to end the clip. Slide up while holding to keep recording hands-free; tap to stop. Tap ✓ when your take is done.

The script doesn't follow me

Following your voice needs an internet connection and your permission to send audio for transcription. Without either, the script scrolls at a steady pace instead — the tag in the top corner shows VOICE when it's following you.

Moving through the script

Between clips, drag anywhere on the camera image to scroll the script; your next clip starts at the highlighted line.

Fixing a clip

Tap a clip to select it, then hold to record it again. To delete, tap the backspace button twice; Undo appears for a few seconds.

Captions

Captions are timed to your words after you finish a take. Tap Edit words to fix a word or its timing, and pick Fun, Pro or Serif. Export with captions burned in, without them, or as .srt and .vtt subtitle files.
